Generation Revolution!

Sometimes we feel like we are failure. Sometimes we feel like all we do is hurt those around us. Sometimes we try to make change, but give up because everyone’s making it hard on you by putting you down and telling you that it’s not worth it because nobody’ll listen. Why do we give up so easily? Why do we let those people bring us down? Why do we listen to those who try to hurt us? Why do we think about  all the bad things that could happen and destroy it instead of focusing on the positive  and being optimistic? Why is it that we fail in listening to what the sword of the spirit says? Who don’t we apply the Bible and persevere. What good is it if such an event as John 3:16 occurred where God sent His only son Jesus to die for us and forgive our sins if we don’t make it count, if we don’t make it worth it? Why is it that we choose to give up unlike Jesus who defeated Satan by using the sword of the spirit? I’ll tell you why, it’s because we’re too foolish to even think before we act or speak, it’s because we’re too foolish to worry about anyone but ourselves. It’s because we give up when the going gets tough and when we think that we aren’t good enough. It’s because we fail to ask for strength from the only one who can really fortify us! It’s because when Satan attacks us because He KNOWS we’re almost there and a huge blessing is about to come upon us we fail to go to God! We give up! The Bible says when we draw close to God, Satan is out the door! Why do we ask ourselves if we really matter when we know about this unconditional love and choose to not accept it? It’s because we let Satan take control of us, it’s because we let him in when we shouldn’t, it’s because we become vulnerable to the idea of being good enough to live a life in Christ! Why do we hush our mouths instead of sharing the gospel? It’s because we’re scared, and we know how cruel this world can be. Why is that when we see someone in pain, being bullied or abused we stay quiet? It’s because we’re scared we really won’t be able to help and just hurt that person even more or hurt yourself. Why is it that we can stay quiet, yet there are people out there fighting for what they believe in and getting hung, burned alive, or being punished for sticking to what they believe in and those of us who live somewhere free, America, say nothing when it comes to speaking about God?! It’s because although we say we believe and we follow, we’re scared of getting made fun of, we’re scared of being abandoned by friends and even sometimes family. Why can’t we just follow Ephesians 6 and put on the armor of God?! Why can’t we be the generation to change the world, why can’t we be the generation to bring everyone to God?! Well you know what, we can! We can be the ones who change the whole world for good, we could be the ones who do everything for the glory of God! We can be the generation to save lives! We can be Generation Revolution! How? We put on the armor in Ephesians 6, we read the sword of the spirit, and we can make the biggest change by just doing that. Come on Generation Revolution, get up and go win those souls!

Yup. Gonna lose followers for this. Don’t care.

Note: I’m not reblogging this with the intention of offending anyone who’s Catholic or to mock the pope, but we all have so many things that aren’t necessities and don’t give to those who truly need it. Give, save, spend. :)
